A LETTER OF WELCOME.
Welcome to Bread, where we’re interested in the big questions. How can we get the most from life? How can we grow spiritually? What’s our purpose here on Earth? If you’re interested in these questions, come explore them with us.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience what Jesus describes as “life in all its fullness.”
If you’re wondering if Bread is a church where you will be welcomed and can find a home, we’ve prepared this Letter of Welcome. We hope it at least offers a flavor of what we are like.
You can also check out a Sunday Service, attend our next Alpha session, or see what’s happening here.
SUNDAY SERVICE
10:30am
1711 N Van Ness Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90028
Sundays Services are super relaxed. They last for about 90 minutes. There’s time to worship, an inspiring, thought-provoking talk from the Bible, and a chance to receive prayer.
OUR BELIEFS
We are an open-minded, Spirit-filled church rooted in the historic Christian faith. Our core beliefs are expressed in the Nicene Creed, which has united Christians across traditions for centuries.
TOWARDS A TRULY INCLUSIVE CHURCH
Jesus crossed social, cultural and religious boundaries. He shared meals with those others excluded, welcomed people pushed to the margins, and gathered a community that did not depend on everyone being the same.
In diverse Los Angeles, we strive to be a church where people of every culture, race, sexuality, gender, political leaning, age, ability and background can belong, use their gifts, and live a shared life. With God’s grace and in the power of the Spirit, we’re committed to listening, learning, and becoming a church that reflects the richness of God’s kingdom, where all are one in Christ.
