WHY WEEKEND AWAY?

Once a year, we step away from the city and spend a full weekend together as a church—unplugging, sharing meals, worshipping, and resting in nature. It’s one of the most formative times we experience as a community.

Weekend Away is a time of deep connection—not just with one another, but with God. We make space for joy, stillness, play, and for the Holy Spirit to meet us in unexpected and personal ways.

Whether you’re brand new or have been around for years, this weekend is for you. It’s one of the most meaningful ways to feel connected, filled, and refreshed in what God is doing in our church. And we hope to see you there.

What to expect at Weekend away?

Come early on Friday afternoon for plenty of chill time under the shadow of the San Jacinto Mountains. We’ll be self-contained within 22 acres at Tahquitz.

You can look forward to heaps of relaxation time in lush mountain air and forest green pines—we’ll have pickleball, a soccer pitch, basketball courts, a pool, plenty of fire pits, late night karaoke, meaningful times of worship and community time, and much more.
