Serve the City

Jesus loves everyone who calls Hollywood home, and we’re passionate about caring for our neighbors who don’t have food, shelter, safety, or belonging. So, we’re committed to meeting practical, emotional and spiritual needs as the spirit leads. We can’t do everything, but we can do something. We’d love you to join us in playing our part in Jesus’ call to mercy and justice for a city in need.

HYGIENE CARE KIT DONATIONS

We collect the following items ongoingly:

  • hand sanitizer

  • baseball hats

  • sunscreen

  • face wipes

  • water bottles and/or juice boxes

  • Winter items (collected October to March)

    • soft snack bars and fruit snacks

    • handwarmers

    • sweaters/crewneck/hoodies

    • blankets

    • beanies

We aim to look out for the most vulnerable amongst us. Care Kits are individual packs filled with snacks, hygiene products, socks, and a list of resources that we hand-deliver to our unsheltered neighbors.

Want to help? You can donate items or help distribute kits at one of our outreach events. And if you'd like to keep one on hand, grab a Care Kit from the lobby at church — toss it in your car or bag so you're always ready to show up for someone in need.

Any donations may be sent to the church office or if you’d like to organize a drop off, please email Hannah@bread.church, or you can drop off donations on Sundays before service.
